Create a bold, polished and sophisticated bathroom without breaking the bank. There are many ways to update your bathroom without having to do a complete overhaul. Simple things can make a big difference; like new lavatory fixtures, relaxing shower systems that work with your existing plumbing, new and functional storage, and glamorous bathtub or shower surrounds without all of the maintenance of tile.
A new lavatory faucet can brighten up any space. Your lavatory faucet gets a lot of use, and is something everyone will see when they enter your bathroom, so why not wow them with the newest styles and finishes? Polished nickel is one of the hottest finishes right now. It gives you the shiny reflective quality of chrome but with the rich saturation of light gold. It coordinates well with many colors and is such a simple, sophisticated update. Channel spout faucets are all of the rage in the design world. Some manufacturers to look at would be Moen, Delta and Brizo. These manufacturers offer modern, traditional and even wall mount channel spout lavatory options where you can actually see the water flowing all the way down your spout.
Kohler’s HydroRail® and Grohe’s Retro-Fit™ Shower System allow you to have the luxury of a rain shower and the functionality of a hand shower all in one. These systems install where your existing shower head is plumbed without having to change the existing plumbing valve. The diverter is located right on the rail of the product so no separate transfer valve is necessary. Not only is this a great value, it is also right on trend with the exposed, industrial look the design world is loving.
Kohler has recently introduced the Verdera™ line of medicine cabinets. They come in a variety of sizes and can be recessed or surface mounted. All of the cabinets have a beautiful slow close, beveled mirror front, with optional magnifying makeup mirror. A medicine cabinet is a great way to remove the clutter from your countertop and really update the space. Kohler also has an amazing product called the StereoStik™. The StereoStik™ attaches to the side of the medicine cabinet giving you access to AM/FM radio, clock and auxiliary input for your MP3 player or phone. What better way to start your morning, or wind down your evening with just the right melody?
Tile bathtub and shower surrounds give a bathroom such a beautiful and rich feel. Why not get the same feel with half of the labor and maintenance? Swanstone now offers a subway tile and 12-inch tile look to their panels. Subway tile is very on trend in the design world, and it is practically a maintenance free application. With Swanstone, you can get the same look with NONE of the grout. Another great product from Kohler is the Choreograph™ shower wall panels. These panels make it possible to update a
very traditional bathroom to an ultramodern bathroom with their wide variety of sizes, colors and even textures! A Kohler Choreograph™ shower wall will really make you and your guests say WOW!
