Ketmar Celebrates 25 Years as a Woman-Owned Custom Home Building Company

BUFFALO, NY: Buffalo Architecture Foundation, Inc. (BAF), a non-profit, 501(c)(3) public charity, announces the third 6Mbs: 6 Minutes Building Stories, which will be hosted at The Hotel Lafayette on April 25th, 2013.

Construction has started on a new neighborhood on East Avenue in Pittsford, Kilbourn Place. “Kilbourn Place offers a rare and remarkable opportunity for luxurious residential living,” said David Riedman, president of Riedman Companies, which is developing the complex. “The luxury townhomes will fit seamlessly into the historical architecture of East Avenue.”

Magnificent buildings all over the world were constructed of Medina sandstone from Medina, New York. These blocks were recovered from the deconstruction of one such building. They are irregular in size and nicely wear their over 100 years of exposure to the elements.
