Major plumbing brands have been resetting the standard for what plumbing fixtures in your home should be by introducing new and exciting high-tech products. From steam showers that stream your favorite podcast, to voice-enabled faucets that connect directly to your smart home device such as Alexa. There are products available now that most of us couldn’t even imagine just ten years ago!
Let’s start with the heart of your home, the kitchen. It all begins with touchless faucets, which really exploded about four years ago. Ever since, companies have been perfecting and expanding the technology and their offerings. You can get a touchless or “smart” faucet in all your favorite styles and finishes. The motion sensor lids will open and close on their own so you can keep your hands clean while you do your business. We all know you’re on your phone in there so that part is important. When you’re finished scrolling, simply pick up the remote and use the built-in bidet function. When you’re all clean and dry, select regular or water saving flush. Your first thought on a smart toilet might be, “what if my power goes out?” Not to worry, Kohler thought of that too. The emergency flush supports up to 100 flushes without power.
